Women

Struggling to Find Balance & Boundaries

Being a woman in today’s society is no walk in the park. You are pulled in so many directions and sometimes saying no feels like you are being selfish. Women today are incredible multitaskers, balancing demanding careers with personal lives. But the constant juggling act can leave you feeling burnt out and unfulfilled. Achieving work-life balance isn't about having it all perfectly every day, it's about creating sustainable habits that nourish both your professional and personal well-being.

I am passionate about empowering women to achieve their full potential while fostering healthy relationships and their own personal well-being. I understand the unique challenges women face in juggling careers, families, and personal aspirations and goals. I work with clients and assist them with developing strategies for time management, setting boundaries at work and home and reducing stress by learning about the mind-body connection.

Clients that see me are usually:

  • Women feeling overwhelmed by work.

  • Professionals struggling to achieve work-life balance.

  • Women experiencing guilt of difficulties setting boundaries.

  • Mother and daughters navigating complex relationships.

  • Women seeking personal growth and self-discovery.

Work-life Balance

Achieving work-life balance isn't about working less, it's about working smarter and creating a life you feel passionate about. Having a healthy balance can lead to increased productivity, a healthier mind and body, and deeper connections with your “tribe”. Therapy can be a valuable partner by helping you to identify your values and priorities, develop assertive communication skills, combat perfectionism and embrace self-compassion.

Boundaries

Boundaries are the invisible lines we draw around ourselves, defining what we will and won't tolerate. They're crucial for protecting our emotional well-being and preventing burnout. Women, especially, can face pressure to be people-pleasers, neglecting their own needs to prioritize others. Setting boundaries allows you to say "no" without guilt, prioritize your time and energy, and foster healthier relationships.

Self-Care and Resilience

Self-care isn't just bubble baths and face masks (although those can be helpful!). It's nurturing your physical, emotional, and mental well-being. This could look like setting aside time for hobbies, getting enough sleep, eating nourishing foods, or practicing relaxation techniques. Poor self-care can impact resiliency. The loss of the ability to bounce back can make you feel worse about yourself. Therapy can help you develop coping mechanisms, build self-compassion, and identify your strengths

Family Dynamics

Families are complex systems, and our experiences within them can have a lasting impact. Unhealthy dynamics, like enmeshment, abuse, neglect or emotional manipulation, can leave us feeling drained and confused. Therapy can help you understand your family dynamic, develop communication skills, and set boundaries to create healthier interactions.

By prioritizing balance and taking care of yourself, you can create a life filled with purpose and fulfillment.
